Hello, I am Adelle, the face behind Steps Ahead Foot Care. I am a fully qualified Foot Health Practicioner, based in Leicestershire. I am committed to delivering outstanding foot health services tailored to your individual needs. With over 20 years of experience in health and social care, you can trust that your foot care is in excellent hands. I pride myself on being approachable and professional, focusing on patient-centred care while using the latest techniques to ensure optimal foot health. I am fully insured and DBS certified, whilst also being a registered member of The British Chiropody and Podiatry Association, and The College of Foot Health Professionals. General Nail & Foot Care
I offer treatment for ingrown, thick, and rams' horn toenails. Ingrown toenails can cause significant pain, but often treatment can be performed without the need for surgical intervention.
I provide diabetic foot care, which is crucial for individuals with diabetes as it will help to prevent complications such as ulcers, infections and nerve damage.
Corn & Callus Removal
Corns develop due to prolonged pressure on a specific part of the foot and can become quite bothersome and painful if not addressed. Calluses arise from friction, typically from footwear, leading to dry, thickened skin that can also become painful.
Verrucae Treatment
Verrucae are caused by the common HPV virus and are typically transmitted through direct contact, such as in pools or gyms. They can lead to pain in areas of the foot that endure pressure. Untreated verrucae can persist for years, treatment is recommended if they cause pain, spread or are bothersome.
Fungal Infections
Including Athlete's Foot. The treatment includes fungal toenails and the foot itself. Fungal infections typically necessitate additional treatments, which may need to be administered by the patient or by myself if required.
Home Visits
Enjoy our Foot Care services right in the comfort of your home. Each appointment costs £35 and lasts approximately 45 minutes, with your initial appointment possibly extending to 1 hour. Your first appointment includes a Neurovascular Assessment and a tailored treatment plan to follow. Take advantage of our loyalty scheme, which provides a £10 discount on your 6th appointment. Clinic Appointments
I also offer in-clinic appointments for those of you who prefer a clinic setting. Every Monday, I am based at The Foot Health Clinic, Meadow Lane, Loughborough. First appointments are priced at £43, follow-up appointments at £38. Your first appointment includes a Neurovascular Assessment and a tailored treatment plan to follow.
